Joe: fine if your gonna ditch us. (trying to make her jealous) maybe we’ll just go to the boardwalk and pick up some hot girls. How does that sound?
Brooke: that sounds great. But change your shirt and if you see me there pretend you don′t know me. (she walked out of the room and left Joe Nick and Kevin standing there confused. She seemed like she had changed, a lot, her whole personality was different. She never used to mind hanging out with the guys and now she was excluding them from her plans. Not cool. Joe was getting nervous. He could imagine her on the beach all hot and cute and guys flocking to her and flirting with her. He didn′t want that and neither did Nick or Kevin.)
Joe: (whispering to his brothers) I don′t care what she says, shes not going alone. (Nick and Kevin nodded and Brooke walked back into the room wearing nothing but a black bra and a pair of short camo shorts. She didn′t really care that the guys were still in there, they had been friends for so long that she wasn′t embarrassed to let them see her. The guys jaws dropped and they couldn′t take their eyes off of her.)
Brooke: (opening a drawer) does this tank top match? (she turned around and held it out to the boys. They just stared at her eyes wide.) hello?
Nick: what?
Brooke: does this tank match these shorts?
Kevin: uh yeah.
Brooke: kay good. (she slipped the tank over her head.) well don′t just stand there. Lets go start breakfast.
( she went downstairs and the guys followed. they all had cereal for breakfast and watched She’s the Man [LOVE THAT MOVIE!] after 10 minutes of convincing from Brooke. Nick and Kevin laughed at all of the funny parts and realy enjoyed the movie but Joe tried to pul off that ‘tough guy’ attitude by pretending that he was too cool for a chick flick. it was about 1:45 and the movie had just ended.)
Brooke: (standing up and stretching her arms) well that was great but I gotta get dressed.
Joe: why- oh wait your ‘friends′ right?
Brooke: yea… I′ll be right back.
(she went upstairs and changed into an extremely short faded denim skirt that her mom bought for her but she never wore and a white ribbed tank top. She looked HOTT and she knew it. She brushed through her perfectly straight bleach blonde hair one last time and grabbed a brown leather over the shoulder purse and she skipped down the stairs. She grabbed her house keys and was about to leave when Joe stopped her.)
Joe: your wearing that?
Brooke: yea… why?
Joe: I don′t know it’s just a little… skimpy
Brooke: (sarcastic) thanks MOM but I′ll be fine
(She said goodbye and walked out the door. Joe stood there with his hands on his hips.)
Joe: (to Nick and Kevin) well gentlemen its time to put operation eagle into effect.
Nick: operation eagle?
Joe: come on guys catch on… this is where we make sure that Brooke’s so called ‘friends′ don′t try anything with her.
Kevin: Joe, she’s a pretty smart girl… she’ll be fine on her own
Nick: yea man she told us that she didn′t want us around
Joe: so she won′t see us. (he picked up a baseball hat and a pair of black raybans and put them on) we’ll go undercover.
Kevin: you really think she won′t recognize her three best friends in hats and sunglasses?
Joe: we’ll hide behind a friggen bench or something it doesn′t matter lets just go already!
Nick: why do you care so much… do you like her or something?
Joe: dude she’s like my little sister! I′m just looking out for her and you guys should be too.
Kevin: (he put on a hat and sunglasses) lets do this
(Nick did the same and they snuck outside. They could see Brooke down the street just leaving the gate [they lived on a gated block for security reasons] they ran from yard to yard trying not to bee seen and hiding behind bushes. They made it out the gate and got onto the boardwalk and ducked into shops every time they could to make sure Brooke wouldn′t see them. Finall they saw Brooke walk up to a group of guys who looked like surfers standing by the railing at the edge of the boardwalk. They were all tall and had dirty blond hair and were wearing ginny tees shirts and khaki shorts and all pretty much looked like Abercrombie and Fitch models. Brooke hugged one of them and Joe immediately felt a rush of jealousy and anger. Joe Kevin and Nick snuck acroos the boardwalk and down a ramp onto the beach and walked right below where Brooke and the guys were standing [well not actually underneath the boardwalk but on the side listening in on the conversation] Joe realized that he had seen a few of the guys at the mall the day before and they were checking Brooke out.)
